The PGA Tour kicks off 2025 at The Sentry in Kapalua, Hawaii. Sixty-four PGA Tour members were invited to play in the first signature event of the 2025 PGA Tour season on the island of Maui.

There were 65 players on the tournament's original qualifiers list. Among those not headed to Kapalua is last year's Sony Open in Hawaii champion, Grayson Murray, who died in May. The three other qualifiers not playing the Sentry next week: Rory McIlroy, Wyndham Clark and Nick Taylor.
