Russia launched 110 loitering munitions to attack Ukraine on the night of 12-13 January. Ukrainian air defence units have destroyed 78 of them, while 31 have failed to reach their targets and disappeared from radar.

Ukraine claimed Saturday to have struck one of Russia’s largest oil refineries in a drone attack, starting a fire at the facility more than 700 miles into Russian territory.

In September of last year, it was reported that Russia had launched an astonishing 8,060 drones developed by the long-time Russian ally, the Islamic Republic of Iran, in Russia’s ongoing war against Ukraine.
