With the 2024 season now officially over, the Michigan Wolverines are turning their full attention toward building the best roster possible for the 2025 season.

We knew that the Michigan football team was going to go after offensive linemen in the transfer portal, and they got one here. Lawrence Hattar is the second offensive lineman in this transfer portal class as the Wolverines also landed a commitment from Cal Poly transfer Brady Norton.

Lawrence Hattar was not a big name in the transfer portal, whatsoever. The Livonia, Mich. native has played for Division II Ferris State since 2022, but at 6-foot-5, 335 pounds, he’s a big body at a position of need along the interior offensive line.

While preparing for their clash with Alabama, head coach Sherrone Moore and new offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey, have been pursuing wide receiver upgrades via the transfer portal. Michigan has already secured a commitment from 6-foot-5 former Indiana receiver Donaven McCulley,
