RuPaul is paying tribute to The Vivienne one day after the RuPaul's Drag Race UK winner’s death was announced. The Emmy Award-winning host, 64, remembered the drag artist — born James Lee Williams in Colwyn Bay, Wales — in a touching Instagram tribute.

James Lee Williams, the first winner of "RuPaul's Drag Race UK" better known by their stage name The Vivienne, has died at age 32.  The British drag queen died over the weekend, their manager Simon Jones confirmed in a statement posted to Instagram.

The Vivienne, season 1 winner of “ Rupaul’s Drag Race UK ,” died over the weekend. The drag performer, whose real name was James Lee Williams, was reportedly 32. A cause of death was not revealed in a social media post announcing the death.
