Google is widely rolling new feature for its popular Quick Share tool on Android devices. Quick Share users can now take advantage of a new QR code option to send their files to other users. Recipient can quickly scan the QR code to get the files through a link.

When using Quick Share, users will now see a "Use QR code" option in the sharing menu. Selecting this option will create a QR code that can be scanned by other Android devices. Once scanned, the receiving device is directed to a quickshare.google link, and the transfer starts, as reported by Android Central.
