The County Council discussed two major proposals Tuesday night: one that could eventually lead to them ousting County Executive Sam Page, and another that requests the state conduct an investigation into the county’s prosecuting attorney’s office that could lead to a full audit.

On Tuesday, the St. Louis County Council appointed Councilwoman Rita Heard Days as chair and Councilman Dennis Hancock as vice chair amidst pending litigation. The new chairwoman is looking to get the charter change in front of voters on the April 8 ballot.
