Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant has been the star of the show in Memphis as usual, but the 25-year-old All-Star has had a hard time staying on the court. Morant has already missed 12 games this season, and an early departure in Friday's matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans has left fans worried once again.

Ja Morant stood near the end of the Memphis bench, cheering on his teammates but leaving his right arm hanging below his injured shoulder, as the Grizzlies closed out a 132-124 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday night.

If Morant can’t play on Sunday, the Grizzlies should continue to lean on Jaren Jackson Jr. The 7th-year forward finished with 33 points on Friday and closed the game out after Morant left. He also added four steals and three blocks, showcasing why he has won a Defensive Player of the Year award.
