Eleven Illinois teenagers were hit with felony charges in connection with the alleged luring and beating of two men using dating apps this summer, according to police.

Mount Prospect police said 11 teenage boys, one 16 and the others 17, were charged with felonies, including aggravated battery, criminal damage to property, and mob action.

Felony charges have been filed against 11 teen boys accused of ambushing and beating two men after they allegedly used a dating app to organize meetups in early July. According to Mount Prospect police,
