During the pregame of Wednesday’s matchup between the Texans and Ravens, Joe Mixon ignited a spark with backup QB Josh Johnson

During pregame warmups, Ravens punter Jordan Stout was going through his normal routine. He miskicked one of his punts and it sailed to the left toward the Houston staff on the sideline. Nobody was hit, but that didn't stop running back Joe Mixon from defending his coaches.

Joe Mixon confronted Ravens players after an errant punt hit one of the Texans coaches before the Christmas Day game.

Texans running back Joe Mixon and Ravens backup quarterback Josh Johnson had words and had to be separated during pregame warmups.

Mixon made some headlines during the national Christmas Day games before kickoff though — for getting in a scuffle before his Houston Texans took on the Baltimore Ravens. For whatever reason, Mixon got into it with Ravens players during warmups and social media accounts suggested it went on for several minutes.

Ravens punter Jordan Stout launched a punt that struck one of the Texans’ assistant coaches during warmups, angering Mixon, who then punted the football into the stands. When Mixon got on Stout for the placement of his punts, Johnson stuck up for his teammate and that started the confrontation.
