Kimmel’s Jan. 7 interview with Cher already got off to an awkward start when he asked whether she would want to reach out to one of the men she mentions in her book who was reportedly “instrumental” to helping her end her relationship with Sonny.

On Wednesday, Cher stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote the second part of her autobiography, Cher: The Memoir, the Goddess of Pop. But their sit-down went a little sour when Kimmel asked about whether or not she was actually finished with the book. Part I hit shelves in November, and Part II is expected in November 2025.
