The San Jose Sharks are around the bottom of the NHL this season. However, they have seen encouraging play from some of the team’s younger players. William Eklund is one of the Sharks’ standout players this year.

Per the team, Eklund hasn't been officially ruled out of the game and is deemed questionable to return. Eklund scored the Sharks first goal on the power play but was hit hard by Canucks defenseman Tyler Myers shortly before.

It has been reported that San Jose Sharks forward William Eklund is out day-to-day with an upper-body injury. The team has announced that he will not be in the lineup for the team’s game on Friday night against the Vegas Golden Knights as well.
