Park City Mountain's ski patrollers approved a new contract with Vail Resorts, ending a 13-day strike. Ski patrol and mountain safety workers plan to return to the slopes Thursday. Ski patrollers at the biggest U.S. ski resort say they have reached a deal with Utah’s Park City Mountain Resort to end a strike that put a wrench in operations during the busy holiday season.

After a strike that lasted nearly two weeks, Park City Mountain and the ski patrol union have reached a tentative agreement, the groups said in a joint statement Tuesday night. The agreement is still pending and will be ratified after a vote scheduled for Wednesday.
