Disgraced former congressman George Santos has won a few months' freedom from federal prison in order to come up with more than half a million dollars in court fines.

The disgraced gay ex-congressman said he needed more time to make money from his podcast to pay the fines he owes. He wanted a delay until August, but a judge granted it just until April.

George Santos has had his sentencing delayed for two months after he asked for additional time to continue making episodes of his podcast. Concretely, the disgraced former lawmaker said new iterations of "Pants on Fire with George Santos" would allow him to make more money to restitute the government.
