Google is quietly rolling out a new way to share files with Quick Share. Users can now use QR codes to start a file transfer.

The company has finally started rolling out the QR-code-based sharing feature to all supported Android devices – both smartphones and tablets. If you are unaware, the feature has already been there in Samsung phones even before Quick Share became the default file-sharing tool for Android.

Like many people who live in a house, mine is filled with far too many storage bins of various shapes and sizes.
