Arkansas football controlled the Liberty Bowl against Texas Tech behind quarterback Taylen Green, who provides plenty of offseason optimism looking forward to 2025.

Taylen Green threw for 341 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 81 yards in Arkansas' 39-26 victory over Texas Tech on Friday night in the Liberty Bowl. Green completed 11 of 21 passes and Arkansas (7-6) had 573 yards of total offense.

Green was named the game’s MVP after he completed 11 of 21 passes for 341 yards and 2 touchdowns. Green also rushed 15 times for 81 yards to lead the Hogs. The passing yards by Green sets an Arkansas bowl record for passing yards. It broke Bill Montgomery’s mark of 338 passing yards against Ole Miss in the 1970 Sugar Bowl.

The Razorbacks will be without a number of top contributors, but QB Taylen Green will still take the field for the AutoZone Liberty Bowl.
