A brush fire that blazed through the San Fernando Valley’s Sepulveda Basin was fully contained Thursday, authorities said. Adding to a string of vegetation fires, the flames were initially reported at 75 acres just before 4 a.m. Wednesday at the park located near the 101 and 405 freeways, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
