Sunday will start off quiet, but mild. A line of heavy rain and gusty winds may cross the region from west to east through the afternoon. There’s a low-end chance of localized, strong to severe storms as the front crosses. Right now, the great risk appears to be strong winds.

Friday will feature sunshine once again as temperatures manage to warm a little more and peak in the low to middle 40s Friday afternoon. The dry weather will come to an end overnight Friday into Saturday morning as a warm front approaches the region from the southwest.

A winter weather advisory has been issued for Friday night in advance of some light freezing rain in northern reaches of the Philly suburbs.
