Officials say rare Pakistani airstrikes have targeted multiple suspected hideouts of the Pakistani Taliban inside neighboring Afghanistan, dismantling a training facility and killing some insurgents.

Some 27 women and children are said to have died in strikes carried out by Pakistani troops which were supposedly aimed at insurgents.
