Michigan defensive tackle Kenneth Grant, a projected first-round pick and the No. 25 player on ’s Big Board, has declared for the NFL Draft. Grant joined forces with Mason Graham over the past three years to give Michigan one of the most dominant interior defensive lines in college football.

The three-day draft will take place in Green Bay, Wisconsin, from April 24-26. Underclassmen have until Jan. 15 to declare for the draft, though there is a Jan. 24 deadline for those who will be playing in the College Football Playoff National Championship. Michigan football may have gone 7-5 this past season but it was rife with talent — particularly on the defensive side of the ball. But even with multiple stars declaring for the NFL draft shortly after the conclusion of the regular season, there was one Wolverine who appeared to be holding out.
