Police identify the man struck and killed by a septa bus in South Philadelphia. It happened as the bus driver turned from Front Street onto Washington Avenue Friday night. Investigators say 35-year-old Michael Spooner was dragged under the bus and pronounced dead at the scene.

According to investigators, the couple was attempting to cross Front Street in the crosswalk when they were hit by the bus.
